Our Current Grant Partners 

Since 2017, the North Carolina Local News Lab Fund has invested more than $4 million in 37 organizations, with direct investment reaching nearly half of North Carolina’s 100 counties. From the Qualla Boundary to Corolla, our grant partners are actively shaping the future of North Carolina’s news and information ecosystem.

From investigating and documenting the issues that North Carolina’s communities are facing, to ideating and implementing programming that closes the information gap where it’s most urgent, our community provides a snapshot of both the emerging challenges and the solutions we need for a stronger and more resilient North Carolina.
